About #11 - Wild Fire

Hey SteemFam!

Today I wanna introduce you to my work- "Wild Fire".

I named it such because the combination of the yellow and red reminds me of wild flames.

Inspiration can be found on Google...

At the start, I had some trouble trying to figure out what kind of designs I could put on the bottle. It's always the beginning that is the toughest.
I decided to go on Google and search for some interesting designs that I could use. That is when I found this beauty:

I was drawn to the minimalistic look of the jar. There wasn't much color and there was a lot open space.

The Process

For this, I used an empty bottle which previously had some honey in it, that we had bought when in Coorg.

This piece was made back when I had first started painting bottles. Back when my hands were not steady (they still aren't) and my lines were messy (they still are, but I have learned how to clean them up 😛).

The original work had only red in it but I wanted to work with contrasting colors, so I chose to work with red and orange. Since the original piece was only a jar and mine was a full bottle, I had to improvise and add some more design to the piece to make it look complete.

Result

As you can see, it is still a bit rough, but I still like the look of it. Simple and beautiful 🙂

Here's a small video of the bottle... it's just the round-about look of the bottle LOL. Sorry about the terrible background. I had this one video and stuck with it xD and because of the rains here I don't get the chance to take a better video with a better background 😛
