The process of painting
Sometimes I have clear direction, after underpainting just know how I will finish the painting. In abstract art it is the most important to know where the end is. It is much harder to discover that point than with figurative art. But sometimes I just enjoy the process and cannot stop. Usually I’m working on several paintings, than always one of them is process-enjoying work.
The painting needs complete concentration and can be very exhausting. I have to jump in the painting, like in the see, and there is no head up in the air, I have to dive. There is no other world existing except the balance, rhythm, dynamics, harmony. From when I remember I had those ‘paintings’ in my head. Like living images always coming and changing.
Here you can see one of those long process works. It is surprising how the painting can be changed completely.
I will show them from the end to the beginning. This ‘ending’ one is not actually finish. The work is still in process! The beginning you can find at the end of this row.
Enjoy!
