I've tried drawing some portraits before and I just want to share some of them here. Here's the 2nd set. I hope you enjoy and appreciate my work:
Here's a drawing of my friend Gail made with Faber Castell color pencils on a dotted sketchnotebook.
This is another drawing of Gail. Drawn with graphite pencils on a textured board paper.
For a wedding invitation I made as a collaboration with a friend named Nika. Cretacolor Graphites on Monologue sketchbook. I made the portraits for the groom and bride, added them into a miniature body and nika edited it, added calligraphy and turned it into a wedding invitation. Well, this is actually the 2nd portrait, the 1st one was done in color and it was the one used for the actual invitation.
Quick sketch of politicians here in the Philippines (The late Sen. Santiago and the current Pres. Duterte). Drawin with Cretacolor graphites on my Monologue sketchbook as well. This was done near election time. Duterte won. Sadly, Ms. Santiago has passed away after a while. She's one of the best here, and funny too. She published books.
An unfinished sketch of Chloe Moretz. Done with Cretacolor pencils (charcoal, chalk, graphites) on a Monologue sketchbook.
Disclaimer: I have shared these artworks before, it was my first week in Steemit. I got 14 views for this set. Re-sharing it today, maybe more people will see my work. Here's the Original Post
I need to get back into my drawing hobby. I have given all my art materials to @jeseemei (my sister) for her to use, she's a great artist, view her account too. I need to buy my own drawing materials again. I'm limited to ink pens and cheap graphites as of the moment.
Thanks for viewing my art! Cheers!
Take a look out Filipino artists. We're planning to launch an Art Guild for Filipinos. Hoping to get full support from @philippinetrail, @errymil, @erangvee, & other Filipino artists here (Steemians mentioned are possible Guild Masters).
