A Marathon of Ink and Pen Strokes
A new family of drawings was created through five themes; Earth, Water, Structure, Growth and Connection. We then extracted a series of nearly 50 collages, blending fragments of each theme to compose a storyline and in turn a new visual language of placemaking.
Below, you can see the original five themes and a few examples of the collages we generated from them.

Now that you have an idea of the toolkit and process of our project, here are most of the collaged storylines that we've developed -
These storylines, as they began to emerge and interweave, motivated us to reconsider what “collaboration” meant for those involved in both the production and conversation as a whole. Collaborative work has the opportunity to not only focus on the creation of a unique thing, but also break down the communication barriers between disciplines and people, allowing them to take part in a generative process.
Wooo! That was quite the trek, even for us who have been so close to these drawings for all these years. Seeing them never fails to surprise us every time and always re-sparks the idea of no limits in creativity. We hope you enjoyed this compilation and thank you again for encouraging us to wrangle the work together!

Tomorrow we’ll take a break from the artwork to bring you something that we’ve been cooking up specifically for you all, the Steemit community aka our next potential collaborators! For now,
