In my continued effort to promote and improve the artistic community here on Steemit I am doing a weekly curation! Most of the artists I have chosen are still minnows and are waiting to be discovered and others that I will feature have just plain impressed me!
One of my favourite artists right now on Steemit is @reinhard-schmid. His paintings are absolutlely stunning in both technique and content! I am particularly in love with his Tarot Friday series in which he posts an original tarot painting with an explanation of the symbology used. The next incredible artist I found this week is @daomanhoan who is an architecture student and I was blown away by their watercolour paintings of cities. In their most recent post they presented three gorgeous paintings, the last one of a unique looking bridge:

@whiteblood has been posting some very beautiful water-colours as well and this one of a woman with a headdress is particularly striking! You can see her process in the link below the image:

It seems I am in love with water colour this week as the next artist @prostosun has caught my eye by doing a still life of flowers in the same medium :) The strokes are so fluid and loose looking and they have also included a very detailed step by step which should be very useful for aspiring artists:

The last artist on my radar today @zugart has made some comic book style submissions for Inktober, I love the noir look of these and I think they will get us in the mood for Halloween, this one is called "Death and the Maiden Marilyn Monroe", just a warning the other image in the post is a little NSFW:
