DOODLES IN THE DEEP: Are they black and orange OR brown and red??...And my venture in creating better posts here on Steemit.

What do you see? Black and orange or brown and red?

What? It worked on Twitter several months back with that stupid dress that was blue and black...or was it white and gold? Heck, I don't even remember. It is funny how the smallest thing like that can cause a comment war on social media, am I right? But if you really stop and think about it, what if each person sees a different color? What if my brain recognizes a deep purple, while your brain sees a brilliant sky blue?

This is my sixth post here on Steemit and I'm realizing rather quickly that it is time to step it up..

My recent posts were more of what you would call....Test posts, maybe? I do plan on making a nicer #introduceyourself post eventually with the Steemit sign and what-not to verify that I'm not a bot, but until then, I added my account name in this first picture to verify that these are all original pictures. I want to get my artwork out there. The fact that I could have a chance to use my talents instead of letting them shrivel and die is, well, exhilarating.

As a young child, I remember people asking, "What do you want to be when you grow up, young man?". Besides the thought of 'I'm just a child, why would I decide that at the age of seven', my longest standing reply would be, "I want to be an artist"...Which was usually met with the response of, "Artists don't make any money".

As a seven year old, I can't recall if that was mortifying or if I didn't really care about the money part. It was most likely the latter, as I didn't have bills or responsibilities at age 7 and all I wanted to do was make everyone happy with my little drawings.

Check out this wicked sweet .Gif...Unless you have epilepsy, in which case it's probably not a good idea.

But I mean, hey, do what you want.

I would like to give a shoutout to @pixielolz, @poeticsnake, @in2itiveart, @fairytalelife and @opheliafu. You all are the first five artists I came across when I started here on @steemit and every single one of your posts have been an encouragement to keep posting my art. It really helps to see people here that share the same interests as yourself. Thanks so much!!!

Thanks for looking, and if you like my post, check out my other recent posts (even though they aren't as good..I'm learning quickly) like this one where I designed a donut monster tattoo for a friend of mine with Juvenile Diabetes

Or this one which is just a post of some of my random sketches.
