Hey, guys! What a great night, huh? :D
Artstoooorrmmm! yes, the contest where you must make a drawing in 15 minutes! Today's theme is kite flying. It may seem simple, but sometimes it's hard to decide what to draw. Fortunately, the alien movie I saw with my mom a few minutes ago helped me with that so, I ended up doing this:
Despite having some knowledge about the English language, I didn't know what "kite" meant until I saw the drawings of the other participants. My native language is Spanish so, as an extra, I'm going to tell you that Kite in Spanish is written Papagayo. I'm from Venezuela and I don't know if in other Spanish speaking countries they call it like that, too. In Latin America, it's very common for an object to have different names depending on the country. For example, "Pineapple" in Venezuela is Piña, but in Argentina they call it Ananá.
And this happens with many other words. Some of them can be used normally in a country, however, in another one, it can mean something very offensive. I've several examples, but I won't teach you bad words in Spanish, haha.
Thank God I feel much better today so, I was able to join the contest. That's all for tonight. Hope you liked it. Bye, guys! <3
