Easter Bonnets
Title of this art: A Present

Hi Steemies,

This is my digital art entry to @deemarshall artstorm contest. Please check this post for contest details. I hope you would also join in this activity.

I want to make an easter bonnet for kids but I am afraid I would not be able to present my ideas well so I chose a female bonnet instead. On this drawing, Debbie is wearing a lovely and colorful easter bonnet. There should always be something new on Easter and she went for a traditional take hence the bonnet.

The Blue Bells

Scene 9: A Present

The weather is clear that early morning when Debbie woke up. That thought about Harris came to her mind as she sip a hot fresh cup of coffee. Debbie felt the sadness of the little boy and for some reasons she is feeling a bit affected by it all.

It was still early and Debbie decided she could visit Mrs. Bertie's flower shop before she goes to the grocery store. She walked along the nicely paved road leading to the main street and made a turn. The garbage collector is already at the Blue Bells Cafe hauling bags of wastes. He heard something that is scratching and squeaking. He thought it was a raccoon trapped inside the bags while searching for food.

Garbage Collector: oh there you are little furry mouse. How did you get in there? Looks like you were cold last night and needed some food and place to stay. Hmmm...let me help untangle you.

Upon making a turn, Debbie saw the garbage collector holding a brown bag that was filled with sweet treats. Debbie who is allergic to little tiny noises heard the field mouse trying to escape from the brown bag.
Debbie: Hold it hold it.
Garbage Collector: Good morning
Debbie: Give me that brown bag
Garbage Collector: Are you sure? There is a little furry thing inside that bag.
Debbie: I know. Could you please put him inside a cage or something?
Garbage Collector: Sure ma'am.

Debbie went on and reached the Blue Bells Flower Shop. She pulled out a beautiful white bonnet that is embellished with silken and velvet flowers. It perfectly matches the color of her tunic today. She got a lovely present for the little boy, Harris.
