I saw your post on Steemit and knew I had to contact you. You seem like such a sweet Sheep and seem to have a wonderful friend that you live with. I was thinking about how to reply to you as I don't usually do this sort of thing, but here it goes.
My name is Gregory. My friends have nicknamed me Olaf because apparently, I resemble some famous snowman from a movie I haven't seen. Anyways, I currently live in Sunny Florida. I know you must be thinking, why would a snowman live in Florida? Well, the thing is, my family lives here. They keep the air conditioning on so I stay inside and keep intact. However, because I cannot venture outside the majority of my friends, whom I adore, also live with me and I thought it would be nice to get to know someone else who lives in a different place. So, here I am.
I have included my picture for you since you were so nice to share yours. If you can't tell, I was extremely excited to see your post. I immediately went to work and made a nice picnic. These are some of my most favorite things, and even though we are pen pals (or hoping we can be), and I can't actually share them with you in real life, I thought it would be nice to set it up anyways.
I love picnics. This is my favorite way to spend time with friends. I bring my favorite white, pink, and red checkered blanket to lay down on the ground so we are comfortable. Lots of fruit to share, and some bubbly water. I love to spend hours just chatting and listening. I am a really good listener. Also, I thought you may appreciate the fact that I am a snowman. The thing about snowmen is they are cool. So on those days where your wooly coat is making you too hot and you don't know what to do, I am here. I could sit beside you and cool you off because I am always cool. I think we would have a lot of fun together.
Besides picnics, I absolutely love to write poetry. It is one of my favorite pastimes. It takes me a while because my stick hands have a hard time holding anything, so from time to time I need to get the local beaver in my house to sharpen one of my stick arms so that I can scribble stuff down. I would type it up on a computer but my human family don't often leave their technology on or lying around for me to use. I made a poem just for you. I asked my human to type it up for me and post it back to you, she agreed to help me out. I hope you like it.
Poem for Bahbahra
A sheep so sweet
She searches for friends
My heart skipped a beat
When I read her post until the end
A friend I hope that I can be
I would be lucky to connect, you see
We could write to each other
Share all of our stories
I will pick you some flowers
And we can share some brownies
I do hope that she will choose my friend request
Then my heart will be happy and I will be set
Anyways, that is all I have. I hope you will consider me to be your Steemit Pen Pal friend.
