U.S. Postal Service solution to drastic decline in letter-mailing

To the U.S. Postal Service ~ We have a solution for you.

According to recent reports, letter-sending through the U.S. Postal system has declined 121% since the invention of email.

This is not surprising -- letters are delivered instantly via email, compared to the days it takes for a letter to go through the postal system, and even then some are not delivered if they're lost or mangled by the machines.

But we can understand that this decline in stamp-buying is quite worrisome.

So we at the Banana Collective have come up with a solution for you, dear Postal Service:

Coat envelope flaps with banana-flavored glue

It will start a mad rush of letter-sending, as people everywhere will love the taste of the glue on the envelope flaps. It may even start a new craze in paper-and-ink writing.

You're welcome.
