🗞 Bitcoin as Safe Haven Narrative is Tested Again After U.S. Strike in Iran

Iranian Major-General Qassem Soleimani, head of the elite Quds Force, and Iraqi militia commander Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis were killed in an air strike on their convoy in Baghdad airport by the U.S. airstrike late on Thursday, reports Reuters. Veteran war-zone correspondent and political analyst Elijah J. Magnier posted a Twitter thread saying, among other things, that Iran decided to respond to the assassination directly, that the U.S.'s moves are uniting Iraq and Iran against it, that all U.S. high-ranking personal could be potential targets for retaliation, and that Muqtada al-Sadr (an Iraqi Shia cleric, politician and militia leader) has given an order “to indicate his readiness for war against the US in Iraq.” Iranian journalist and activist Masih Alinejad shared, however, that Qassem Soleimani was not a hero for many Iranians, but a warmonger.

🗞 Thanks Boomer? Bitcoin-Friendly Generations to Inherit $70 Trillion

Bitcoin (BTC) aware Millennials are set to inherit almost $70 trillion of value from the Baby Boomer generation by 2045.

Data compiled and originally released in a November 2019 report by digital asset management firm Coinshares revealed those who grew up with Bitcoin will soon benefit from savings worth over three times the United States’ GDP.

“Boomers” to pass on $68.4 trillion
The findings continue to circulate on social media, where they have found traction with commentators who have become notoriously suspicious of so-called “Boomers.”

🗞 Here’s What Must Happen for $9K Bitcoin Price in the Coming Months

Bitcoin (BTC) made a sudden jump of 8% yesterday and is currently hovering at around $7,300. As the price bounced from $6,900, a higher low is presenting itself on the chart, but does this mean that the bottom is there?

The price of Bitcoin is still moving inside this downwards channel since last year’s high of $13,900. Remarkably, the price corrected towards the “Golden Pocket” Fibonacci area (0.618-0.65 level) and is currently showing a potential higher low.

The green area is also a significant area from 2018, as that was the zone the price of Bitcoin bounced on for 6-months.

Given that the price bounced from $6,900 to $7,400, there’s buying pressure shown from this area, indicating that the price might be bottoming inside this range.

🗞 Burger King Venezuela Starts Bitcoin Payments in First of 40 Stores

Bitcoin (BTC) has come to Burger King in Venezuela as a new partnership opens up cryptocurrency payments at the fast-food chain.

Confirmed in a tweet on Dec. 30, a single Burger King branch in the Sambil area of Caracas now accepts Bitcoin, along with altcoins Ether (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), Binance Coin (BNB) and Dash (DASH), as well as stablecoin Tether (USDT).

A total of 40 locations will follow suit in 2020, according to a blog post from Dash executives about the move.

🗞 Google Play Lifts Ban on Ethereum Browser Extension MetaMask

Major Ethereum browser extension and wallet service Metamask has something to celebrate as 2020 kicks off, notifying its users that Google has now reversed its short-lived ban on the browser add-on.

In a tweet posted on Jan. 1 2020, the MetaMask team revealed that:

“Upon careful consideration, Google has permitted The MetaMask mobile app back on the Google Play (Android) store! Thanks to all the believers in an open web for speaking out in our support!”

You know it now, this leval of 0.124$ is very important and if we don't want that the market try to break it again, we need to take some distances from it. FOr this we need a nice bounce and the BTC could help us on that move if it continues the nice bounce that it started yesterday. STEEM is exactly on its support line also so it is the perfect momentum to do a nice UP.
