The price of bitcoin (BTC) has dropped more than 25 percent in four days, and it looks headed for even worse territories as of this writing. Veterans have braced for its eventuality. However, there are many newly onboarded, and they’re only used to the world’s most popular cryptocurrency dipping slightly in an effort to rise again evero-higher, quickly. For perspective, here’s a look at some of the more memorable crashes.

🗞 Goldman Is Setting Up a Cryptocurrency Trading Desk !

It should run by the end of June and this is the first major WS firm to make this move.

Nevertheless, the firm is still trying to figure out a way to be a custodian of Crypto Assets.

Clients are really interested as the price of some companies saying to "work on blockchain or with cryptocurrencies" went up +2500% last week. (Even if most actually are not really doing so).

🗞 North Korea Accused of Hacking South Korean Bitcoin Exchange Youbit

Upon the discovery of the hacking attack, the Youbit team told its clients that the company is working closely with local authorities and the South Korean law enforcement to evaluate and investigate the security breach. The Youbit team said:

“Currently, we are cooperating with law enforcement and third-party investigators to evaluate the breach. We are trying everything in our capability to minimize the losses of our users and we are considering several ways to handle this situation. We would like to apologize again for disappointing our users.”

🗞 Popular Chat App Kakao’s Exchange Upbit Claims Number One Spot in South Korea

Kakao’s cryptocurrency exchange Upbit now claims to be the largest crypto exchange by volume in South Korea, one of the top three markets globally. Listing over 120 coins and leveraging Kakao Talk’s massive user base, Upbit currently facilitates an average daily trading volume of 5 trillion won.

🗞 Markets Down as Ripple Price Achieves $1.15

Amid a sea of red, Ripple (XRP) surges on. With Bitcoin and many altcoins experiencing downtrends, Ripple continues to surge. It is currently hovering at US$1.15, with a BTC value of over 7,000 satoshi. Just last month, Ripple was trading at US$0.20. After a surge last week of over 300%, XRP has continued its massive march upward.

Yesterday, we were testing the support line of our trading range and we broke it during this night :

As expected, the second support line has been tested but helped us to stop the correction as we just touched it and go UP after.

We must be carefull now, we should continue to move inside the trading range canal and try to go outside of it via the UP or the DOWN.
If we break it via the DOWN, we should see an acceleration of the correction and go back in the levels of 10-11k$.

It is perhaps the time to secure a part of your profits if it is not yet done.
