One Month Of Winter Left
Today I've been getting back into the swing of the garden a little. Things are looking good for the most part.
This is my guild pot, started out with lettuce, radish, peas, silverbeet and tomato seeds. We've eaten the radish and peas already and currently harvest leaves from the lettuce and silverbeet while waiting for the tomatoes. One yummy and productive pot!
I've put a makeshift bamboo tomato cage in my guild pot and the cherry tomatoes, lettuce and silverbeet are doing very well all jammed in there together. I think they've honestly had the least predation from aphids, caterpillars and the dreaded locusts.
While trellising the cherry tomato I've struck some of the stronger side shoot prunings around the garden, it will be good if they take but mostly they are on their own, aside from the general care that the beds get.
I've made a mix of Mancozeb Fungicide and Magnesium Sulphate to treat the Blueberries and the kumquat tree. Hopefully that will rectify the troubles they are currently suffering.
I've put it in charge of the blueberry bush!
My dad has been helping to partially restore my old dinning set to sell and we turned up some new knobs on the Lathe over at Men's Shed this morning.
