Story Telling Crash Course - Session Thirteen: The "Press Release" Approach

February 26th, Steemit, The World

for immediate release

Although with one day delay, the thirteenth session of the story telling crash course was eventually delivered, confirming the widely spread rumors. This session features the long awaited "press release" approach.

According to the author of this story telling crash course, the "press release" approach is very useful when one wants to convey information in an objective, exact and verifiable way. The "press release" approach doesn't apply only to journalistic investigation, but also to another field, which is increasingly visible during the last ten, fifteen years. It's about the software version releases, which are all following the same approach: they convey information in an objective, exact and verifiable way.

"Take, for instance, @steemitblog posts on the Steemit.com platform. They are very good example of what you should expect from a press release approach. Short sentences, just the right amount of information, nothing more, nothing less", added the author of the story telling challenge, in an interview.

For those interested to test the new approach, there is also an assignment. You should write a "press release" approach depicting a specific event from your lives or activities, in a short, concise and verifiable way. It should follow the exact lines of this very example, even with a quote from a person "familiar with the matter". As usual, the author of the challenge will review all assignments and award the one that he likes the most with 1 SBD.

Please note the technical requirements for your assignments to be considered for review: tag them with challenge30 and story and leave a comment to this press release with the link.
