It is that time of year when many put thoughts upon Jesus’s coming to earth, God with us, Immanuel.
We take perhaps extra time to think on the precious gift of Jesus, who was born as a fragile infant, who grew up to be a man perfect in all His ways. He fulfilled His mission, to suffer and die on a cross for our sins and rise triumphantly on the third day. I thank the Lord for sending his one and only Son. And for all the titles He is so worthy of!
For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
and the government shall be on his shoulders.
And he shall be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
-Isaiah 9:6
How I Came Up With the Design
This art, being typographic in nature, is fairly straightforward. However, I had to do quite a bit of trial and error to select the right fonts and colors to highlight the specific meanings in the verse: powerful, distinguished or peaceful where appropriate.
