What is Hook 'Em Up?
It’s our mission at BuddyUP to grow together, support each other and highlight the fantastic content that is created by our members. As part of that mission, we showcase talented content creators within the BuddyUP community, who also display a positive attitude and a community mindset, through our weekly curation post, **Hook ‘Em Up!**
THIS WEEKS CATCHES
@tamala
The diet/weight-loss industries are overloaded with information, most of it contradicts each other. Not to mention that many of us have tried EVERY diet and weight-loss fad ever concocted (did someone say Grapefruit diet, Master Cleanse, HCG, Points!), with little lasting success. It’s hard to not just throw up your hands in defeat, and pick up that bag of Doritos/Oreos. Before you do just that, check out @tamala’s post about the last diet you’ll ever need:
Going on a 'diet' is the problem. A diet for most people means you will change your eating habits for some period of time until the weight drops off. During that time you feel deprived, you feel hungry, you not-so-patiently wait to return to your 'normal' eating habits.
She simplifies the solution to your weight-loss problem by offering a 4-step plan that promotes health and vitality. She also includes links to her other healthy eating and healthy lifestyle posts.
Stop by this BuddyUP member’s blog and support the excellent work she’s doing to help us Steemians become and stay the healthiest versions of ourselves!
@penderis
So, have you got a question? @penderis has the answer. Maybe not the answer you wanted, but an answer none-the-less. This is a clever concept for a post... an invitation to pose any question in the comments and @penderis will respond with his opinion, to any legit questions, by updating the post with the Q&A.
The questions ranged from:
Do our posts get flagged if we edit after 3 days?
to
We've heard of voodoo, hoodoo, and black magic. I know the origins are from Africa and Haiti. Do you know of any groups of people in other regions, in history, that practiced this kind of stuff?
to
How do I end 2018 with a bang?
@penderis takes his job seriously, but not too seriously. He gives us well-thought out, often-researched responses (even citing sources he used), but always in that @penderis style.
Go check out @penderis blog, creator of Steemit images that he graciously shares with the community. You can see a super-cool one right HERE
