Hello there! Welcome to our digital castle.

With the first week of challenges out of the way.. We are on to the 8th round challenge and things will slow down a bit now to one or two rounds a week.
I didn't realize how difficult it would be in numerous ways, though I'm extremely happy with and humbled by how much positive energy has been associated with the IFC so far.
So many great entries and quite a few great competitors! Our first round had 12 entries, not all rounds did that well.. But.. I think it's enough to make it work and has also been a pretty good start!
So far... We have bashadow with 2 wins, kryptocek with 1 and auminda with 1 and also we have two ongoing ties!
It's getting off to a ferocious start! :D And if you're new here it's definitely not too late to sign up!
I'm trying to design this contest so that people can still have a chance to win the grand prize of 150 steem even if they get started late and will have future "catch up" rounds to help people who haven't won or leveled up yet to help get them in the game also.
I had been thinking about which challenge seemed most important to me to start the 8th round with.. And.. It's an easy answer for me.
Just like we had a round to help beginners.. I think now we need to try to help the IFC competition itself..
So far I've got so much amazing feedback from people saying they're having a lot of fun and really enjoy this IFC contest...
I wish I could give back more.. But.. I'm at best a dolphin and I'm not even sure if I'm technically a dolphin or not..
I have a few other friends who are similar in their ability to award steem and they help when they can, though.. I think this competition would be SO much better if we could somehow get the support of a whale, or even a couple more dolphin level people!
Ultimately the grand prize is 150 steem and that's a decent amount, yet.. Only ONE person will get that, plus the smaller awards for 2nd and 3rd place..
And.. I think one of the coolest things about this is the chance for people to earn steem each round they compete in, so if we had a whale or multiple more dolphins helping out.. I think it would make this a lot more rewarding for those who are participating!
Right now it varies, I think the highest round was around 8 steem? And most of them are down around 1 or 2 steem. If we could get that up to like.. 10 or 15 or 20 steem for each round.. Then I think that would not only bring quite a few more people to the contest itself, but also make it much more enjoyable for those who are participating right now!
Your mission this time, should you choose to accept.. And in this case.. We may not even have a round winner if no one is able to find anyone to help.. BUT.. The mission is.. Whoever finds the more generous sponsor to help out the tournament gets the win for this round!
Also, to go into a bit more detail.. If you can get some kind of auto vote, that would be awesome.. Or someone who can upvote or resteem once and a while would also be great.. OR, even a one time donation from someone to the grand prize would be considered.. Though, what we REALLY need is someone to help out with upvoting the individual rounds so each round makes more steem for the contestants involved.
Best of luck to you! This could be one of the most important rounds in the whole competition, because.. This would really mean a lot for our contestants and those in the future who may want to join and be a part of the IFC!
PS I'm also going to pitch our contest idea to a whale as well. You can go over there to maybe upvote/comment on that and help support it if you want?

The rules are..
You must create your own blog post on your page in regards to the challenge with a title mentioning the specific contest, IE something like.. "Information Finding Championship - Season 1 : Round 8 entry" and then link it here on this page in the comments below. And you also have to use the #informationfinding tag in your blog post as well.
For this challenge.. If there's a tie.. Those involved each win and level up and split the reward.
The winner will be decided by whoever gets the most votes.
The only people who can vote in a qualifying sense are myself and the four judges I've selected and we will vote by leaving a comment on the submission that we like the most and say something like.. "I vote for this one" and a reason why we voted would be good too, but is not mandatory.
You have until this challenges post payout ends to submit your post.
The challenge will finish after 7 days when the post ends and provides its payout cycle and unless there is a tie, each involved in the tie will level up and have a point to go towards their long term win and they will split the steem/sbd from the challenge (minus the 25% or so for curation)
If you are new and want to know more about how the contest works in general, this link may help that explains the Information Finding Championship in more detail.
