For a long time I am asking myself, how to increase the ammount and quality of the comments under my posts.
Please don't get my wrong!
I appreciate every single comment but I am not fully satisfied. Because it can get better everytime and it is never enough :P
So I tought about this topic and wrote down some points. While thinking I had this great idea I will tell you at the end of this post!
Questions I am asking myself:
? Are my topics interesting?
? Is my style to write posts and record/cut videos interesting?
? Am I asking the view questions to motivate for commenting?
? Is it enough to motivate with upvotes on comments or are there any other possibilities to motivate my viewers?
? Am I asking and giving an upvote on every single comment?
? Am I talking to the right target group of persons ? Should I do content in my native language?
? Should I do more contests / giveaways?
? Should I show you comments of the latest posts in videos/posts?
? Am I consistent regarding my topics and upload schedule?
? ....
Now I am able to define some guidelines for the work with my commenters,
I allready do them all most but not all of the time. From now on I will do it everytime.
Guidelines for myself:
- I will call you all to give feedback some more
- I will improve the way I write my posts (like in this post)
- I will include all informations from my video also in the post
- I write my posts mostly in English AND German from now on
- I will upvote and reply every single comment
- I am going to have a topic and upload plan and will announce this to you all
These are my ways to increase the ammount of incoming comments.
For a big motivation for you all to give many good quality comments I have the following plan:
From now on I am running a monthly comment contest !
Everyone can participate by writing a good quality/funny /special/creative comment under one of my posts. If you write more - the chance could be higher to win of course!
The monthly winner will be manually selected by myself and will automatically receive a delegation of 100 SP for the time of 3 Weeks. (because 1 Week is needed to get the delegated SP back to your account).
The determination of the winner will be published via video or post on the last sunday of the month. I will also talk / write about some other comments.
This contest could go forever but it could be that I will adjust some parameters like the delegated SP, the interval of the contest and so on but nothing from this is planned yet.
? What do you think about this idea ?
? Do you have some other suggestions to increase the amount and quality of posts ?
? Did you ever thoungt deeply about that topic?
? And what are you doing with bot comments and "nicht post"-comments ?
? Do you use the flagging feature for spam comments?
I really hope the contest will burn my comment section and we will have much fun there in the fire!

Ich stelle mir seit Längerem die Frage, wie ich die Anzahl und Qualität der Kommentare unter meinen Beiträgen steigern kann.
Bitte versteht mich nicht falsch!
Ich bin für jeden einzelnen Kommentar dankbar, aber dennoch bin ich noch nicht ganz zufrieden :P Mehr und Besser geht eben immer.
Also habe ich mir ein paar Gedanken gemacht / notiert und dabei kam mir eine glänzende Idee, auf die ich weiter unten eingehen werde!
Fragen, die ich mir aktuell stelle:
? Sind meine Themen interessant ?
? Ist meine Art zu Schreiben und Videos zu machen interessant genug?
? Stelle ich ausreichend Fragen in meinem Beitrag, auf die in den Kommentaren eingegangen werden kann?
? Ist der Anreiz eines Kommentar-Upvotes nötig und die einzige Möglichkeit zu motivieren?
? Antworte ich auf die Kommentare und gebe für jeden einzelnen ein Upvote?
? Spreche ich die richtige Zielgruppe an bzw. sollte ich ggf. auch in meiner Muttersprache schreiben / sprechen?
? Sollte ich mehr Contests / Giveaways machen?
? Sollte ich Kommentare auch in kommenden Beiträgen vorstellen und beantworten?
? Bin ich Konsistent in meinen Themen und meinen Uploadzeiten?
? ....
Daraus resultieren nun für mich ein paar Richtlinien, die ich zum Teil auch schon umsetze aber in der Zukunft mehr einhalten möchte.
Richtlinien für mich:
- Ich sollte öfter zu Feedback zum aktuellen Thema und anderen Dingen aufrufen
- Verbesserung der geschrieben Posts (siehe dieser Post hier)
- Alle Informationen aus dem Video sollten auch im Beitrag erwähnt werden
- Englisch und Deutsch (zumindest in geschriebener Form)
- Upvote und Antwort für jeden einzelnen Kommentar
- Ich möchte einen ungefähren Uploadplan und Themenplan erstellen und meinen Followern vorstellen
Dies sind alles Mittel, um die Frequenz eingehender Kommentare zu steigern.
Bezüglich der Motivation, qualitativ wertvolle Kommentare zu schreiben, habe ich folgenden Plan:
Ab sofort veranstalte ich einen monatl. Kommentar-Contest !
Jeder von euch kann durch ein qualitatives/lustiges/spezielles/kreatives Kommentar zu einem meiner Posts teilnehmen.
Wer mehr kommentiert hat u.U. eine höhere Chance zu gewinnen!
Der monatliche Gewinner wird von mir ausgesucht und erhält quasi direkt im Anschluss eine Delegation von 100 Steem Power für ganze 3 Wochen. (da die Steem Power bei Entfernen einer Delegation für 7 Tage gesperrt sind).
Die Gewinnerauswahl wird in Form eines Video oder eines Beitrags am letzten Sonntag des Monats veröffentlicht. Dabei gehe ich dann auch auf weitere Kommentare ein, die es nicht geschafft haben.
Dieser Contest könnte auf Ewigkeit laufen. Ein paar Justierungen an Verlosungstag, Laufzeit der Delegation und Anzahl an SP könnte ich mir noch vorstellen, wobei aber noch nichts derartiges geplant ist.

? Und wie gehst Du mit bot kommentaren und "nice post" - Kommentaren um?

Ich hoffe, dass dieser Contest den gewünschten Effekt bringt und wir ne Menge Spaß im brennenden Kommentarbereich haben werden!
