Without much thought, or deep contemplation, ill be sharing with you few brave souls that have taken the time to read this post, my weekly BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge!. The "share your battle" challange has ended, where the @splinterlands team asked you to share a battle with a specific monster, and now its more about a specific ruleset. This new weekly challenge definitely has its upside, as it allows a wider audience to take part, even when their battle decks are limited. ![Screenshot_20230624_212928_Chrome.jpg](https://images.hive.blog/DQmTz1PEHN6p8u24rGmSKdsiXDgkExaH59K5QMXb6MZRFxV/Screenshot_20230624_212928_Chrome.jpg) This week, the team over at #splinterlands has asked us to share a battle with the ruleset "**FEROCITY**". As the name suggests, all monsters taking part in the battle gain the ferocity ability! Monsters with this ability do double damage to targets with the Taunt ability. This ruleset, can completely flip a battle on its head! Conventional battle plans go straight out the window, it also creates a whole new style of play. If you enjoy using a solid tank or tail-gunner with taunt, beware..... That poor monster is getting a beat down.

Lets go play #splinterlands...... Its not like you can pick and choose the rulesets for every battle! But doing what #splinterlands does best, they threw a spanner in the works by adding an additional ruleset alongside FEROCITY just to mess with my mind and really get me thinking.

EARTHQUAKE: Non flying monsters take 2 melee damage at the end of each round.

STAMPEDE: The trample ability can be triggered multiple times per attack if the trampled monster is killed

Taking these rulesets in to consideration and the summoner choices available to me, I actually decided that for this specific battle, with these specific ruleset, I would pick my tried and tested LVL5 *ALRIC STORMBRINGER* to use some pretty hard hitting water splinter, magic monsters. Heavily defended at the front with my Djinn Oshannus followed by my Prismatic Energy and a higb health Nerissa Trident holding gernown at the rear. I like to playout in my head how i think the battle will unfold. I try and predict what i think the outcome may be, and judge how well my opponents have set up thier team. So can my lvl 5 summoner take out my opponents lvl 6 summoner?? Its going to be tough.... They defhave some decent monsters out on display. Total attack from my team. It goes to show how powerful a well balanced magic attack team can be. I checked using the [SPLINTERTOOL](https://splintertools.io/) page, the battle shows me as having a **0%** of pulling of a win.
