In the 17th and 18th centuries a Salon was a popular form of gathering in order to enhance philosophical understandings and promote intellectual fields ranging from art to science.
Steem Salon exists with the goal of establishing an online (Steem based) community where this kind of interaction can once again flourish.
- In order to remain substantive, all posts should generate some form of philosophical discussion, enhance knowledge on a philosophical topic, or share a new piece of philosophically-based art or literature.
