A Company In Australia Is Set To Launch A National Cryptocurrency Exchange

A new startup in Australia has massive plans on changing the Australian cryptocurrency market by launching a national cryptocurrency exchange.

The exchange is set to be available in the market 2018 and will be focused on selected and popular cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum.

They will also eventually support other more cryptocurrencies and initial coin offerings as well.

NCX will operate under the rules and security standards of the government and will work in compliance with the provisions of the Australian Digital Commerce Association.

Israel Considers Offering A National Cryptocurrency

Following Russia and Dubai, Israel is currently considering offering a national cryptocurrency which would correspond to shekels value.

This digital shekel is said to make black market transactions less possible, which is around 22% of the country's gross domestic product.

The government will also consider legislation that will substantially decrease the amount of physical cash in the economy, wherein an example would be a law against paying wages in cash.

The project is just getting underway however and an 'Economic Arrangements Bill' was already offered by the government.

If the bill passed, the would be a separate panel for the Bank of Israel to consider creating the digital shekel.
