A Survey Data Shows That 31% Of South Korean Workers Have Cryptocurrency Investments

Approximately three out of ten South Korean workers are cryptocurrency investors according to a survey made by Saramin, an online job portal.

These people's investments averages to 5.66 million won or $5,300.

Half of them believe that cryptocurrencies are the fastest way of making money and half says it is very convenient for micro investments.

About 80% of them said their investments have gain them profits from 10% to even 100% returns.


Philippines Central Bank Plans To Regulate Bitcoin

Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) is currently planning to regulate Bitcoin and other digital assets in the country.

The central bank wants to work with exchanges and businesses whose business models revolves around cryptocurrencies , and made partnership with the Securities and Exchange Commissions for this purpose.

Also, BSP has yet to approve 12 pending bitcoin exchange applications in the country, despite having granted a license for two exchanges in 2017.

Although the bank is not recommending digital currencies as investments, they consider them as useful tools in delivering financial services such as remittance and payments, and this is where the regulatory guidelines will be imposed, no more further than that.
