The European Union Plans To Regulate Bitcoin For Mass Adoption

With a feel of skepticism & a wary standpoint to cryptocurrencies, the European Union has come up with a decision to regulate Bitcoin and digital assets.

Issues like cryptocurrencies being used for terrorism, money laundering and drug trafficking are indeed increasing and the digital currencies can hid these activities.

They also include the obvious speculative risk in investing and betting in them in the long run.

Thus, EU government sees the need for Bitcoin and cryptocurrency regulations, which is considered by many for them to reach mass adoption.


Ripple Remained Green Amidst Other Cruyptocurrencies Going Down

News keep getting better for Ripple including a Japanese credit card consortium announced that it will use the XRP blockchain technology.

Ripple's partnership with Tokyo-based finance company SBI Holdings, and its subsidiary SBI Ripple Asia has kept the cryptocurrency still on top amidst others sinking during market crashes.

The new credit card consortium has already developed a payments app backed by Ripple's blockchain technology that will allow real-time payments using just a QR code or a phone number.

If Ripple continues partnerships with other major banks and credit card companies, the cryptocurrency will only have one direction which is up.
