The First Lightning Transaction On A Bitcoin ATM Was Completed By Coinfinity

An Austrian startup Coinfinity has completed what it believes to be the first Lighting Network transaction on a Bitcoin ATM.

Coinfinity was also the first startup to deploy a Bitcoin ATM and web-based cryptocurrency trading platform Austria.

Lightning Network is a second layer payment protocol that will allow users to make off-chain transactions and is believed to be a potential long-term solution to the network congestion of Bitcoin.
