Users can now shift between bitcoin cash (BCH) and bitcoin core (BTC) within its platform’s interface due to the advancement integrating the Shapeshift.io tool within Bitcoin.com wallet.

Central Bank Of Malaysia To Let The Public Decide The Fate Of Cryptocurrencies

Bank Negara, Malaysia's central bank is planning to release a concept paper, calling the public to decide cryptocurrencies fate in the country.

Muhammad Ibrahim, Bank Negara's governor assured the public that the bank will not ban nor recognize cryptocurrencies, and that the paper will be finalized in February.

“Basically, we will let the cryptocurrency promoters including bitcoin, ethereum and ripple to be more transparent, the methods to be more transparent and people behind the scene are to be more transparent too. By doing so, the public can decide on its own if they want to invest in cryptocurrencies," Ibrahim said at the 40th anniversary dinner of Harvard Business School Alumni Club of Malaysia. Source

He also stressed that regulators should be protective and give emphasis on independence execution. Therefore policies to be made should be transparent and communicated well so that the public would understand the policies for efficiency.
