Cryptocurrency Youtuber Getting A TV Series On CBS

Cryptocurrency celebrity, Jason Appleton, is said to have a cryptocurrency show that will hit some American TVs sometime in the months to come.

Better known as Crypto Crow, Jason, will be have a 13-epsidode cryptocurrency based show on the television network.

It has been revealed that Jason himself will be producing the show using bit coin. Jason just started his cryptocurrency career just November of last year but his unique look at cryptocurrency projects, ICO and crypto markets have the crypto community enamored with his contents.

The show will be titled “Crypto Crow Show” to over 17 million household across the U.S. and about 30 million viewers worldwide via the ROKU streaming device.

DX First Crypto Exchange To Use Nasdaq’s Technology

DX is the first centralized exchange that will use Nasdaq’s technology.

It will be release next month according to an exclusive report from Finance Magnates Monday, May 14.

Nasdaq is a well-known stock exchange in the U.S. and the 2nd largest in America, second only to New York Stock Exchange.

The CEO of the project, Daniel Skowronski describes the forth coming cryptocurrency exchange a “one-stop-shop” for exchanging currencies, holding digital assets and as a cryptocurrency wallet.

There will be no trading fees in the said exchange and will support the top six cryptocurrencies such as BTC, BCH, ETH , LTC, EOS and Ripple.

Other alternative coins will be added on a later date after its initial run.

However this exchange is not offered for US residence yet as regulatory concerns are still being ironed out.

Electronics Giant LG To Launch Blockchain Platform

One of South Korean technology giant LG has revealed that they are venturing into Blockchain technology by releasing its own Blockchain service, Monachain.

It will launch the said initiative through its information technology service unit, LG CNS.

It plants to leverage the said nascent technology in the field of telecommunications, finance and manufacturing.

Monachain is said to provide various decentralized services such as digital authentication, digital certification and supply chain management.

This is not the first time LG has ventured into the said technology as it has announced last year that it is developing a Blockchain platform targeting the financial service sector using Corda, a distributed ledger that was developed by the R3 consortium.

US County To Accept Crypto For Tax Payment

The tax collector of Seminole County, Florida, Joel M. Greenbag announced that the county will start accepting cryptocurrency for payment for various services this summer to make it more cost efficient and improve payment accuracy.

According to sources the county will accept Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash for property taxes, driver licnse and ID card Fees.

It was also revealed that it will use BitPay as its payment processor which will enable them to receive payments the following business day directly to its bank account in US dollars.

Bitpay said that it was the Seminole County is the first government agency to use the company’s services.

As the County of Seminole move forward in accepting cryptocurrency as one of its financial mechanism other government entities have been studying and legislating for the use of cryptocurrencies such as the state of Arizona and California respectively.

CME Group Launches Ether Reference Rate And Ether Real Time Index

CME group and Crypto Facilities Ltd have teamed up to release two Ether price monitoring tool for Ether: Ether Reference Rate and Ether Real-time Index.

The reference rate will be officially called the CME CF Ether-Dollar Reference Rate which will provide the daily price benchmark s in US dollars at 4 PM London time.

The real-time index, which will be called the CME CF Ether-Dollar Real Time Index which will enable users to access the price of Ether in dollars in Real time.

Both of the metrics will be computed by Crypto Facilities.

It was also revealed that the reference rate and real-time index are based on order book transactions from the cryptocurrency exchanges Kraken and Bitstamp.

Rates will be available on the CME Group Market Data Platform on June 4, 2018 but can be viewed now in both CME group and Crypto Facilities websites.
