Samsung Develops A Bitcoin Mining Rig From Forty Used Galaxy S5 Phones

Samsung has created a Bitcoin mining rig using forty used Galaxy S5 mobile phones which run on a newly created Operating System for the its upcycling initiative.

This is according to an article posted by motherboard.vice.com

The mining rig was on display during the company's recent developers' conference in San Francisco.

The company also plans to release the software of the projects which they displayed during the conference for free on Github.


People Of Zimbabwe Now Use Bitcoin To Access Global Markets

According to Golix.io, a Bitcoin exchange based in Zimbabwe, there is an increase in number of Zimbabweans who are adopting to Bitcoin as a way to reach various global markets.

Due to the increase in popularity combined with liquidity issues has surged the price of Bitcoin in the African country which now trades at $9,900 USD on the exchange.

Some people use Bitcoin to pay for services offered outside the country or import a car to be used to run a small business.

Zimbabwe benefits from the use of Bitcoin as no foreign currency leaves the country.
