A Canadian stock market for cryptanalysts has suffered a loss of $ 14 million. The reason for this was a faulty SmartContract.

Due to a malfunction, which had occurred during the update from Geth 1.5.3 to version 1.5.9, the contract could no longer perform the hot-wallet transfer for a few days. Therefore, a lot of ethers depended on the splitter contract. The responsible malfunction has already been fixed.

Aufgrund einer Fehlfunktion, die beim Update von Geth 1.5.3 auf Version 1.5.9 aufgetreten war, konnte der Contract den Hot-Wallet Transfer für einige Tage nicht mehr ausführen. Deshalb hing eine Menge von Ether im Splitter-Contract fest. Die dafür verantwortliche Fehlfunktion wurde bereits behoben.
