🗞 Bull Trap? Bitcoin Price Slides Below $7K Despite Strong Indicators
Bitcoin dropped below $7,000 a few minutes before press time, in a move that warrants caution as a possible bull trap.
The leading cryptocurrency closed yesterday (as per UTC) above the trendline sloping downwards from the March 5 high and May 5 high, seemingly confirming a long-term bearish-to-bullish trend change.
However, the follow-through has been disappointing. As of writing, BTC is changing hands at $6,965 on Bitfinex – down 3.5 percent on a 24-hour basis.

🗞 Bitcoin Art Merges Canvas and Augmented Reality, Bitmain IPO Update
In today’s edition of The Daily we feature an interesting art exhibition which merges augmented reality technology with oil paintings inspired by Bitcoin and cryptocurrency culture. We also cover updates about the Bitmain IPO, ASX’s “blockchain” deployment and Alexander Vinnik’s extradition case.
Apparently the rumors that a Singaporean sovereign wealth like fund has invested in the upcoming multi billion Bitmain IPO are all just #fakenews. Temasek Holdings Private Limited, the holding company owned by the Government of Singapore, which owns and manages a net portfolio of over $300 billion, has issued a statement rebuking the media speculations about its involvement with the Beijing-headquartered ASIC miner’s producer going public. The company stated: “We have seen commentary about an IPO involving a cryptocurrency company, Bitmain. Temasek is not an investor in Bitmain, and has never had discussions with, or an investment in, Bitmain. News reports about our involvement in their IPO are false.”

STEEM Trading Update by my friend @cryptopassion
Here is the chart of yesterday :
Here is the current chart :
Is it a real break? Mmmmh I'm still not convinced... As I explained you some days ago, we need an acceleration of the move in the case of the break of a resistance line like that one. So yeah I'm afraid that this little break is again a false sign and that we will correct immediatly if the BTC corrects also. Let' see the coming hours but we cannot stay so close of the 1$ if we have a real break of it.
