Everipedia And The EOS Blockchain

Everipedia is known to be a crowd-sourced wiki platform, which is similar to Wikipedia.

It has some differences in the editorial process and also in the way in which articles are published.
It focuses not just on the content of the article but also on the entire viewing experience.
There are several added features such as the up and down vote buttons.

WHY ALL THESE STORIES?

Dr. Larry Sanger has been a critic of the online encyclopedia he helped found some times ago.
He is now the chief information officer of Everipedia which shows how serious he is about disrupting the model.

EVERIPEDIA MOVING TO THE BLOCKCHAIN

We all know how secure data stored in the blockchain is.
the move to the blockchain will create an improved Wikipedia
The start up settled with the use of the EOS blockchain and the IPFS which is a kind of a decentralized server which will be used to store the more heavy data files including videos and images.

using EOS blockchain, a cryptocurrency token called "IQ" will be developed to incentivize content creation. Editors and curators will "mine" the cyptocurrency by making valuable and accurate contributions to the encyclopedia.

FOUNDER AND CEO OF EVERIPEDIA
