Farm Update: Cracker and Jack Silkie Chickens are Likely Boys

My obsession with silkie chickens continues, although we're down to two likely males which makes breeding them impossible. The one above is Jack, the much bigger black one.

The little white one might actually be older than Jack but seems to be of the smaller bantam variety, essentially a miniature chicken.

The cost of these chickens is way to much when you factor in the utter disaster of a trip to Mexico City to get them that ended in us being stranded with a broken motorcycle.

Meet Cracker (white one) and Jack!
