So Cal Steemit does the "Flaunt your foil" contest!!

So yesterday we had the second IRL So Cal Steemit meetup! We ALL had a really great time, and you can read all about that in our members posts on #socalsteemit. During the meetup we were throwing around ideas about trying to make our community account more active on Steemit. And one of the fun ideas that was brought up was to compete in the "Flaunt your foil" challenge by @fishyculture!! And since we were having a BBQ we just happened to have plenty of foil to use so... out came the roll of tin foil!

Since this was a group meetup, we wanted to keep with the theme and so we made a group tin foil hat! Yup... lol... one giant tin foil hat for all of us. This was really extra cool because for most of us it was our first time ever meeting. Talk about an ice breaker! Once you take pictures with people looking all goofy with aluminum foil on your head the barriers are down and everyone can have no fear... because we can all blackmail each other with the pictures! lol.. just kidding. But ya, something about acting goofy together definitely creates a kind of bond.
