Meat on sticks! 烧烤 Shao Kao

烧烤 is translated as grilled meat but you don’t need to grill it, usually the restaurant will do it for you and serve it on sticks. Grill meat in China is usually accompanied by a pint of beer and friends will chatter along about their daily lives and ect.
The Chinese do love their grilled food. You can see it from the pictures

So recently I meet up with my friend for a 烧烤meal, it's only my second time here. I got there after work at 8p.m. so it’s like a late night snack or dinner.

Meet my friend, Alena from Russia.

Like most foreigners in China, Alena has grown to like rice and dumplings. Mainly, because the bread sold here are expensive, lol. Sorry China, it's true.
Alena has no problems with chopsticks, her favourite food in China is rice.

"I love China, but I wish Chinese is easier to learn" that is what she always say.😉 LOL, and this come from a Russian.

Now let me present my #Steemit duty, that is to make you go hungry.
