I love Thai Airways. The moment you step into a plane, the staff greets you with a smile and you know you will be all right.
At check-in I got upgraded from Business to First-class...
This has been some time ago but it was such a great trip, let me share my experience with you.
After you enter the dedicated First-Class Passenger Area everything is taken care of. The amazing Staff will escort First-Class Passengers through an own First-Class only Passport Control and take you to the Thai Airlines First-class Lounge.

I always look forward to the free Massage part for First-class Passengers.
Every Thai First-Class Passengers will receive 1 Hour complementary Massage at the First-class Spa. Flying after a massage is the best thing you can do, your body is so relaxed, of course I got the massage!

If you are flying in or out of Bangkok Thai Airways First Class is the way to go. Everything is perfect, great food offerings, perfect massage, pickup by buggy to drive you to the plane etc. Only sad thing if you are leaving Thailand that this will be your last massage!
