Classic Peanut Dusted Chocolate Fudge Truffles Food Porn and Recipe

Everyone should have a simple truffle recipe on hand in my opinion. Using the rest of the chocolate ganache I made yesterday for a to die for surprise desert I'll share soon, I made these guys which are just fudgy chocolate delights rolled in peanut flour, which gives them that tanish coating.

What I Used:
300 g milk chocolate chips
2-3 T almond milk
Peanut flour, cacao powder, powdered sugar or other coating.

Here's a shot of the flour, just there for the final dusting step.

How it's done:

  1. Using a double boiler, melt the chocolate and milk together until smooth.
  2. Allow to cool then chill overnight.
  3. Scoop out spoonfuls and gently use your hands to roll them into spheres, then drop them into the peanut flour or other topping and roll to coat. Set aside in a container while you make the rest.
  4. Chill and store in the fridge until serving. These will be good in the fridge for a long time, if they last.

These are really so good and there's good value in being able to make ganache for all sorts of recipes. It's something I plan on incorporating in many future recipes so stay tuned, as it's both pretty and tasty.
