Double Chocolate Brownie Cookies Recipe and Food Porn Photo Shoot

What happens when you combine a cookie with brownie taste? You get these super rich double chocolate fudgy brownie cookies that I made earlier today.

They've got moist centers and crisp edges, making it so everyone gets a corner piece of brownie in spirit.

Ingredients:

225 g butter, softened
2 T avocado oil (not pictured)
2 c sugar
2 eggs
2 t vanilla extract
2 c flour
1 t baking powder
3/4 c cacao powder
2 cups chocolate chips, I used semisweet

Start with butter and the oil.

Then add the sugar.

And cream those together.

Add in the eggs...

One at a time.

Then the vanilla.

Add the cacao powder and mix until completely combined.

Add flour and baking powder.

Mix to combine, don't overmix.

Fold in the chocolate chips until just combined. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Size of cookie is up to you. I made medium sized cookies and they took about 15 minutes to bake. I left the centers a bit undercooked to make them more fudgy and I'm glad I did, because the ones that got cooked completely just didn't have the same taste or texture.
