Hello Steemian I managed to catch up I think with all your comments if I missed you sorry its been a busy week, with work and just the other day I also had the opportunity to attend a Steemit's Special Christmas supper club hosted by Steemit super cook @allasyummyfood

But I nearly didn't make it at first as work was trying to be sneaky and rota me in on my day off but luckily I get on with the manager who deals with the schedule.
While I didn't get the full day off work (but that was my choice) I still managed to get the time needed to attend the event.

There was also a ton of snow that came down on the day and it did have me worried as it seems the snow here can somtimes put a halt to many things expecially transport.

I started the journey by getting a coach.

I then got on the train.

The snow didn't stop me from arrived at my destination for the event.

Once out of the train station (there was many stairs lol) getting to the actual event location was luckily rather straight forward.

You know I actually thought I was going to be late due to the weather and it being Sunday (less transport available on Sundays) there was some slowdowns on both forms of transport but nothing major.

When I entered the restaurant I was not sure if @allasyummyfood had seating arrangements or what was the plan for the evening but the Steemians there @starkerz , Allas friend and @ivargereiko made me feel very much at ease.

We decided to nominate a table for Steemians which strangely somehow became the Latvian table lol.
At the table we had Steemians @starkerz @ivargereiko and both @extremeromance who are a couple both using the same account I believe, the others at our table were not steemians (well not yet atleast hehe) but still awesome people.

Obviously the conversations about Steemit was heavily discussed I learned alot by listening to @starkerz talking about many various projects, it was actually one thing which I didn't expect (to be leaving feeling like I had learned many new things) not only that but @allasyummyfood is also very giving when it comes to giving out her advice.

Anyway while the conversation on Steemit was hot the yummy food was also being dished out.
We started the course with canapes tortilla chips with herring cheese now let me tell you that these packed a punch of flavour one of the best parts of the course.

We then had some surprise extras which were the Russian Oliveir Salad and the traditional Borsht soup the best part was the hot cheesy hachapuri with different cheeses filling it.

For the main we had a chicken roast which I have to say was unbelievably well cooked along with vegetables and a lovely Yorkshire pudding which I could of eaten another 1 or 2 of no problem hehe.

Lastly was the dessert probably one of my biggest secret reasons for wanting to go, just dont tell @allasyummyfood I would of started with the dessert first lol.
Each mouth full of this dessert was very satisfying.

Anyway as you can imagine after all the food we still hanged out for a little longer talking more Steemit.com.

Even with @allasyummyfood being so busy in the kitchen she was still very much available making sure everybody had what they needed and taking the time to talk with her guests.
Not only that but Alla still managed to spent time at both Steemit table's and I have to say for this to happen there was alot of work put in behind the scenes for this event, so well done to Alla.

But after all was done in the kitchen well except for maybe the washing up.. she was fully present with her guests and we had a great opportunity for conversation.
I spoke with Alla before at steemfest 2 and she's still just as giving with her advice not only that but shes very smart and one thing she seems to know well is that giving her help to others is a great gift because then those she helped can then help her back = meaning we can all grow.
