Hi Steemians,
It's so cold in Sydney today so I decided to make a Korean ginseng chicken soup for dinner.
The ingredient was a whole chicken, red dates & a pack of Korean Soup Pack
As the instructions were all Korean, I had to rely on the staff at the Korean store to translate it back to me
After I washed all the ingredients, I stuffed everything inside the chicken. Then I tied the chicken tight to make sure the ingredients inside doesn’t come out (I added this step).
Checking the chicken and flipping it after 30 minutes. The soup starting to have some colour. I also started getting rid of some of the chicken oil because I like my soup to be less fatty
After 1 hour, I went to check the chicken but feels like it can still cook some more so I decided another 20 minutes.
Looks like its done. Adding a bit of salt. Another 5 minutes on high heat and its done!
Perfect for a cold night.
