Depending on what you think is important, you will live your life.
It is not what other people think is important, or what they want you to think is important.
Because the brain knows original thoughts. It can tell deception.
It can only think for itself. You can’t think for someone else.
Therefore, it is futile to try and convince someone to think something is important.
It is better to show them the reasons that you think something should be important than to try and force the thought into someone else’s mind.
What is important to one person, may never be important to another. And so, the level of mindfulness put towards those important things are elevated or decreased by the thoughts of each person.
Each person must decide what is important to them, because no one else can decide for another person.
When someone says, “this should be important to everyone”, they don’t understand the thought process of the human mind.
If you think it should be important to others you will have to prove the importance, because talk is cheap.
This story could be important to you, but to someone else it is not.
