My Tiny Garden - It's Periwinkle time!

You have no idea how hard it is to find a plant that will grow on my balcony. It is very hot in the summer and I have to water the post every day. Not all annual flowers like it. They grow smaller, and dry out sooner than the ones in a garden.
Of course I have succulents that enjoy it, but I wanted something that will bloom for me.

And I found Periwinkles! They are just perfect (beside Pelargoniums, but that's for another post). They like sun, don't mind the heat and since we do not have freezing cold winters I can keep the pot outside and they will regrow on their own. Either way from the last years stems, or from seeds that will drop after they are done blooming.

I do suggest to pick the seeds whenever you can and sow them again in new soil. But looks like they can take care of themselves pretty well.
