Here's how it works! I'll share five prompts and you vote for the one you like best. You're welcome to add any ideas to your vote, but, I'll only obligate myself to the prompt.

The prompt with the most votes will be my inspiration. I will create a completely original short fiction by the next day, based on that prompt of at least 500 words. In addition, I will use the winning voters name as a character in the story!

The Game is afoot for a good mystery!
As you step onto an elevator, you lock eyes with a person on the floor you're leaving. It takes a second to realize, it is your dead wife!
^ Today's Prompt # 1 ^
You've got to get the help of a specific person, but there's a catch. Revealing why you need the help, could cause the death of a loved one.
^ Today's Prompt # 2 ^
A new business in your neighborhood has a sign that reads, "Best Take Out in Town" but they have no menu, no food smells, and they say it's "members only" what are in the mysterious take out boxes being picked up at all hours?
^ Today's Prompt # 3 ^
On a whim, you follow a random couple from a park, for fun, only to discover them stuffing what looks like a body into the trunk of their car.

You find a lost briefcase, but returning it to its owner leads you down a rabbit hole into a dark underworld. You've got to find your way out, before the hitman comes to reclaim the bag.
