To ENTER - Reply ONCE with the work NEAR or the word FAR in your comment. Make it the only word on that line, so I can see it easily. :) You can add more to your comment, but please put it on a separate line or paragraph.
How to tell if NEAR or FAR is a winner?
If the person who plays the game 5 comments after yours has a name that starts with a letter that is NEAR yours, and you wrote NEAR, then you WIN!
If the person who plays the game 5 comments after yours has a name that starts with a letter that is FAR from yours, and you wrote FAR, then you WIN!
How can you tell who is 5 comments after any comment?
I will check steemd.com and look at the comments listed there. For example, this link shows the comments in chronological order that I got on my first Give Away:

I'm pretty sure they are in chronological order! In any case, that is where I will be looking 5 qualifying comments ahead to see if a person's Entry of NEAR or FAR is a Winner!
A qualifying comment is a Reply to This Post (not to another reply) which correctly entered the contest by writing NEAR or FAR on a line of their Reply. I use "comment" and "reply" for the same thing. A reply to this post.
ONE ENTRY PER PERSON! Only the FIRST qualifying comment by a person will in fact be a qualifying comment and an Entry in this contest!
Please Define NEAR and FAR!
Surely! There are 26 letters in the English alphabet. A letter is NEAR if it is 0 to 12 letters away, and FAR if it is 13 to 25 letters away, moving forward. The letters wrap around. So, for example!
If my name here was alex, then my name starts with A and another person's name is NEAR if their name starts with
A B C D E F G H I J K L M
and FAR if it starts with
N O P Q R S T U V W X Y Z
Another example!
My name is kenny-crane so my name starts with K and another person is NEAR if their name starts with
K L M N O P Q R S T U V W
and FAR if it starts with
X Y Z A B C D E F G H I J

I will limit this to the First 25 WINNERS!!! Yes, there will be up to 25 Winners of STEEM. Each person who plays will have a 50/50 chance of being a WINNER which depends on the name of the person 5 comments after of you in time, which is fairly RANDOM!
