Hi guys, It's another week with SteemTV, and I just want to say... Welcome to SteemTV Show....!

Today's SteemTV focuses on Health, remember what they say...? Health is wealth!

Some years ago, I lost a friend due to Kidney failure and because of this, I am always interested when it comes to Kidney issues.

I took advantage of this year's world kidney day Campaign which was on the 9th of March 2023 to join some medical personnel around the globe to lend a voice to the general public reminding them of the need to give ultimate attention to their kidney...

I had an Interaction with some health professionals around the world and I thought It would be wise to also share some of the great ideas they shared with me(I choose some tips from two Health professionals. Here is what they have to say:

"When we are healthy we are not aware that there are powerful detoxifying stations in our body. We are full of energy, happy, and can do a lot of physical work and take it as gratis.

What happens if, for example, we have a fever over 38c have an infection, and sleeping, and have no energy to go to the kitchen and drink Quickly, not only we but our body will suffer and we can develop acute kidney injury, could either get worse or better if we hydrate ourselves. You also can compare kidneys with a plant we need hydration so that kidneys function well.

The other function of kidneys is also very important for our well-being and is noticeable for people who have kidney impairment because they suffer from anemia.

You may ask what is the connection between kidneys and anemia? The connection is that kidneys produce a hormone Erythropoietin that stimulates the production and maintenance of red blood cells.

As you might know, red blood cells transport oxygen to our every cell, and with more oxygen more energy.

Having two kidneys that allow us to be a donor if there is anyone if our family has not functioning kidney, then close relatives can donate and save their lives.

Is that not a precious gift that we are gifted by Mother Nature? If you say yes, then join that worldwide kidney day, to remind everyone to appreciate the value of this gift." - @stef1 (Medical doctor - UK)

Thank you so much @stef1 for such a great contribution to this Kidney's day campaign!

Another user I contacted was @skinnyblack (Pharmacist - Nigeria), though It was late, she was able to share some great information about Kidneys..., Find out answers to the following questions in the Video interview below...

  • What is the essence of world kidneys day?
  • Why is it important to take care of our kidneys?
  • How can we take care of our kidneys?
  • Do you think it's possible for you and your team to organize a kidney checkup in your environment?
  • What message do you have to all the users in the blog?

She has said more about this topic in her post entitled: WORLD KIDNEY DAY: Kidney health for all!!! , create a chance to read it, it's educational !

Health is wealth as we all know, and some great tips like this can add value to life. It's true everyone has the freedom to their lifestyle, but our health is one thing we all shouldn't neglect. How interesting it is to see that our platform can serve as good ground to educate us more now and in the future!
