On this week's show, I spoke with one of the newly appointed Steem representatives from Venezuela and a homesteader. He is a hard-working and humble user, his page is filled with some creativities that would make your day. I have personally worked with this user for almost 4 months now. : Hi González, welcome to my show...how would you describe yourself to users who don't know much about you?

🔶Edgargonzalez: Well, I am a very humble, respectful, responsible person who loves nature, a farmer and animal breeder, I also consider myself a person with a great desire to work as a team, and in order to help those who need my help and knowledge that I have acquired so far here in Steemit since I want to be one more friend for all of them and that you have the pleasure of meeting me!

: You joined Steemit 5 years ago, how did you hear about Steemit and why did you join?

🔶Edgargonzalez: I came to steemit 5 years ago, thanks to a cousin of my wife, who was guided by her brother and is, in turn, motivated me and I, being so curious, began to investigate this world that was totally new to me., here I am making good use of it.

: Between when you joined and now, what are some of the differences you noticed on steemit?

🔶Edgargonzalez: I can really say that the changes since I joined Steemit and now have been very noticeable. I have increased my reputation to 77, I am also among the first 15 Venezuelans with more SP, thanks to my hard work and perseverance. The changes have been very favourable, thank God.

: What are some of your achievements since you joined steemit?

🔶Edgargonzalez: Well, one of my greatest achievements has been to be a curator and work on an account to support friends from all the different countries that are here, also another very significant and important achievement was that I am one of the Steem representatives in my country Venezuela and that makes me very happy, I know I will do an excellent job here on Steemit.

: You were recently appointed as one of the Steem Representatives - how do you feel about that?

🔶Edgargonzalez: I really feel very happy because it was something I had thought about and wanted for a long time but I knew that one day that day would come! I am a person who has worked a lot here and I think I was worthy of assuming responsibility and not just posting😄

: What do you think you will accomplish with this role and how are you working towards it?

🔶Edgargonzalez: Well, with this role, I know that I will achieve more interaction with friends, I know that I will be seen more at a level, not only in my country, I am working to support many users, and motivate others to continue on Steemit.

: What will you call a successful Steemian? And will you consider yourself one?

Edgargonzalez: All Steemians for me are successful, although I know that some stand out more than others, but I know that those who have not been able to achieve it, according to their work and perseverance, will one day also achieve it. I consider myself a great Steemian, I feel that I have done a good job and I feel satisfied with what I have done so far here on Steemit. And I think I can keep doing more.

: Whose Steemit blog are you most entertained by and why?

Edgargonzalez : Well, in particular, the Diary Game, is a blog that entertains me a lot since one gets excited when narrating what he does in his daily activity and we have the freedom to express everything we do, I mostly entertain by all users who post the diary game.

: You recently joined a curation team, how is the experience so far and what can you say about your team?

Edgargonzalez: This has been a wonderful experience, and I always dreamed of getting to do it, Some time ago I applied to be one and I had not been given the opportunity, but I can tell you that I feel comfortable with my work team since we are people that we work with the same goal of helping users. I am personally very grateful to you for your support since I joined your team three months ago.

: What is your real-life work and how do you balance that with your blogging?

Edgargonzalez: My work in real life, I am a system engineer, but currently I do not practice, so I am currently dedicated to agriculture and livestock and I distribute my time 50% to them and 50% to steemit, since I currently earn more responsibilities here and that generates dedication and time.

: How have you contributed to steemit growth in your country?

Edgargonzalez : Attracting users to steemit, motivating the people of my country to remain active on the platform and not to decline, despite the fact that every principle is strong and difficult.

: As a Steem Representative, how are you fighting plagiarism in your country and the entire blog?

Edgargonzalez : Well, in my country plagiarism is not put into practice, unlike other countries where a lot has been detected and also the use of AI.

I have detected plagiarism in certain countries using several plagiarism detection tools, although many times they are not reliable, I also use Google to verify the suspicious information.

: If steemit was to be your own for a day, what five things would you do to boost growth?

Edgargonzalez: Firstly, I would remove all those users who have dedicated themselves to plagiarism and double identity. It would run motivating contests that will fill the attention of users.
Support a lot of users' art, creativity and cooking content, we aren't all born with that gift. Maintain fairness for users as everyone is deserving of support. I would support new users with more emphasis since they will be more motivated and the Steemians family will grow with a greater influx worldwide.

: Where is the most interesting place you have ever travelled to?

Edgargonzalez: The most interesting place where I travelled was Cancun, Mexico, for its culture, its art, its beautiful beaches, landscapes and the attention that tourists receive.

: * Which user or users would you like me to interview in my show and why?*

Edgargonzalez: I would like you to interview the friend @aaliarubab. Well, she really is a young woman whom I admire for her ability to guide us in the community where I am currently a MOD. And I think she would also have great things to contribute here on steemit.

: Where is one place that you've not yet travelled to, that is on the top of your list to visit?

Edgargonzalez: Well friend, the country that I have always liked and would like to visit is the United States especially (Disney Word) to take my family.

: What is your favourite song?

Edgargonzalez: My favorite songs are the llaneras, which is the music that represents my country Venezuela, as it is by the singer Luis Silva (I would like to be).
