The Interview Showcase #94 - Exclusive Talk with A Nigerian blogger

Hello people of Steem and Steemit,

It's a new week, welcome to the 94th edition of “The interview showcase...." and my 18th show for 2024.

If you are new to this page, this lifestyle program has many educational values. A weekly interview of users in the blog concerning some trending topics on the Steemit platform. And tips that can help other Steemians to progress positively and help boost the Steem’s growth.

It will help you to get to know more about Steemians around the globe and even Steem and Steemit itself.

I take time to look at some of the most important topics in the blockchain and have a chat/call with Steemians who have a greater idea about those topics.

They also share some tips that can help other users understand the blockchain and correctly use it. Sometimes they seek valuable suggestions here to help them solve some of their challenges.

Today's edition of the interview showcase features @alexanderpeace , a young intelligent Nigerian blogger who is picking up real good now in this space.

Her writing style is unique, and everyday, she makes effort to make good use of the Steem and Steemit blog-chain. Sometimes ago, life hits her real bad and she made a decision she may not have wanted to, but because life was involves, she didn't have any option.

It's actually very interesting knowing the person behind this account and how eager and talented she is. She is eager to learn and willing to accept suggestions that can helped her to grow and be very much useful in the platform. Feel free to support her.

She is making effort everyday to make it right.

: For those who missed your "Introductory post", what can you tell us about yourself?

🔶Alexanderpeace: My name is Alexander Peace. A graduate of Pure chemistry and a passionate blogger who loves to read and write.

Ubongudofot
: How did you hear about Steemit and why did you join?

🔶Alexanderpeace: I heard about steemit from a steemian @ceendy20 through her WhatsApp status update. I took interest and quickly jumped in when I heard it was a platform where you could create quality contents and could also earn some rewards. Since I love to write, I knew it was my long awaited opportunity.

Ubongudofot
: What are some of the differences you noticed on steemit between then and now?

🔶Alexanderpeace: Steemit has improved since I joined. Initially there were no moderators who reviewed posts but now there is and it has helped to improve content creation and check abuse.

The steemit project of being a part of a club wasn’t in vogue then, but now, it is and the burn stem project too wasn't initiated but now it is. Kudos to the steemit team.

Ubongudofot
: What are some of your achievements since you joined steemit?

🔶Alexanderpeace: I have been able to build my steem power in a short while and I have recruited new steemians who I’ve been mentoring.

Ubongudofot
: Most of your posts are quality contents, do you ever feel it is not been supported enough?

🔶Alexanderpeace: Sincerely yes, but I intend to keep giving my best hopefully one day I’d start getting more support.

Ubongudofot
: Whose Steemit blog are you most entertained by and why?

🔶Alexanderpeace: I love to read the blog of @ruthjoe. Am entertained by her weekly movie highlights. Am not a movie person and seeing her share highlights on interesting movies gets me excited and motivates me to look forward to seeing those interesting movies during my leisure times.

**Talking with Peace on Video call**

Ubongudofot
: If Steemit was to be your own, what will you do to market it effectively?

🔶Alexanderpeace: I would create a campaign for seeking out investors as I believe that inflock of investors will move the the ecosystem forward. When they see the standards and quality we offer in our ecosystem am sure they would love to invest because steemit is indeed a good place for such decisions.

Ubongudofot
: What is your major in the university?

🔶Alexanderpeace: I have a B.sc. In Pure chemistry and a PGDE in Education Management.

Ubongudofot
: Many years ago, you were super active in the platform, but at a point, you left, what happened?

🔶Alexanderpeace: I encountered a hiccup in my family and I had some difficult decisions to make and to crown it all I also lost the use of my smart phone (if I were to tell the entire story, we would definitely sleep here). I wasn’t online for two years plus. When the storm passed and I was able to lay my hands on a good smart phone, I didn’t hesitate to come back to what I loved to do most, steemit.

Ubongudofot
: Without exaggeration, what is your sincere aim now?

🔶Alexanderpeace: My sincere aim now is that I want to build my influence on steemit and contribute the best I could to the growth the steemit ecosystem, and I want to get my first dolphin this year. Am working towards this by being more active on the blockchain and ensuring I keep to all the rules of the steemit team and support the projects.

Ubongudofot
: If you were given a chance to visit any place in the world which country will you like to visit and how long will you want to stay?

🔶Alexanderpeace: I would love to Visit Dubai in United Arab Emirates because I would love to see the burj Khalifa and definitely spend a life time there😀.

Ubongudofot
:If you were to operate the SC01 account for 6 hours what will you put into consideration before curating and what will you avoid?*

🔶Alexanderpeace: I would ensure I curate quality posts( Posts that applied proper markdowns, are plagiarism free, not created with AI) and support users who do not use Bot services and I’d avoid the reverse of what am looking out for.

Ubongudofot
: Which user or users will you like me to interview in my show and why?

🔶Alexanderpeace: I’d like you to interview @jyoti-thelight. She’s a talented steemian and very good with craft. Am always impressed by her artistic prowess in her contents.

Ubongudofot
: What is your favourite song to dance to?

🔶Alexanderpeace: Under the canopy by Frank Edwards

Ubongudofot
: Lately many users are tagging curators on their curation day in the name of inviting them to a contest, do you think this can maintain a healthy curation system?

🔶Alexanderpeace: No, I think it will Create more strain on them - thereby slowing down their effectiveness. They should be less burdened and allow to freely curate posts they deem fit as quality posts.

Ubongudofot
: You just launched a new program called: " The green spotlight". How did you come about with this? And what is it about?

🔶Alexanderpeace: Yes and the project just kicked off yesterday. I love to read a lot and I believe in the saying that readers are leaders.

So I decided to start a weekly book review blog called “The green spotlight “ because When you read, you have the opportunity to discover new things and as such, it serves as a green light.

So I called it ‘’The Green spotlight “ because I am in a sense letting people know that they can learn something new here that can lead to success.

*** All thanks to our host @ubongdufot for the encouragement to kick start the project and for suggesting the perfect name for the project.***

Ubongudofot
: If you could turn back the hands of time, what would you change?

🔶Alexanderpeace: I would have love to be known on steemit . Like change the times to have been here earlier.

Ubongudofot
: Very soon I am visiting Lagos for few days. Which area would suggest I should spend those days?

🔶Alexanderpeace: Lagos Island, Lekki precisely. It’s such a beautiful place to be and don’t miss out on Visiting Greenworld Africana. It’s An amusement park and believe me, you would have the fun to last you a life time

Ubongudofot
: Do you have any messages for the steemit team?

🔶Alexanderpeace: You are doing a great Job keeping our ecosystem together, kudos to you and I’d contribute my best to get us to the next level.

Ubongudofot
: What can you say about the Interview showcase?

🔶Alexanderpeace: Am so glad to be here. Thank you so much for having me and kudos to our host. You are doing great and it’s visible to all. Please keep up the good work.
