Movie Review: Night Moves - The movie for those who needs some sleep!

Yes, you read the title right. I will be reviewing today one of the worst movies I have ever seeing in my entire life.

If you feel like you have insomnia, and really do need to sleep, I will suggest you try watching this movie. One of two things will definitely happen - either you are bored to the extent that you fall asleep, or you get super annoyed at the director for deciding to use such great actors in so poor a manner.

Anyway, what movie might this be? You may be asking.

Ask no more, I present to you the review of NIGHT MOVES, a 2013 example of how not to waste 2 hours of your life.

Like the picture says, NIGHT MOVES is "nail biting", but not in the way that you would imagine.

I was reminded of this movie when I was making my entry for @belenguerra's Movie Reviews Contest for movies based on true life stories. You can still enter as there are still a few days left for the contest to run.

For my entry, I had reviewed the movie, The SOCIAL NETWORK, starring the super talented Jesse Eisenberg. He has also starred in other movies I have watched, such as NOW YOU SEE ME and of course the subject of this review post, NIGHT MOVES.

In night moves, he had acted as one of three diehard environmentalists who decide they are going to go blow up a dam in the community which they feel is doing more harm than good to the people. To be honest with you, the explosion in the movie is the only point where you will feel any fireworks or even anything that comes close to thrills.

Other than that, the movie is slow, boring, almost as if it was done on purpose to lull the audience to sleep. Jesse Eisenberg, that talented, fast talking, brilliant artist was in this movie reduced to a man who hardly speaks, simply stands and looks for minutes on end.

In fact, at the beginning of the movie, there was a scene where Jesse and his lady protagonist Dena, simply stood by a river, without saying a word! They stood and roamed about for I cannot remember the exact amount of minutes. it felt like hours!

Honestly, this is a review to advise you simply not to waste your precious time in watching this movie, unless of course you want to get yourself to sleep. Or perhaps you have watched so many good movies in your life that you want to remind yourself how a bad movie feels like.

The movie begins without getting to the point, and ends without getting to the point. It is just there... totally bland.

Anyways, I have done my bit. Personally, I would recommend Kung Fu Panda 2 instead if you must. Because even a cartoon made for kids probably contains more thrills than Night Moves.

See you all next time.

And Thanks for reading.

Cheers!
