Here we are at another appointment of the inevitable BATTLE Weekly Challenge organized by @splinterlands! The theme of the week is MAGGOTS, a monster that I honestly didn't know and I didn't have among my cards but intrigued I bought it on the market.
Aesthetically I like it very much and it is easily associated with death, a category in which paper actually falls. Let's take a look at the features:
- It is certainly a non-offensive card (attack +1) but I would say rather strategic, so it will not be deployed in first or last position because it would be easily exposed to immediate attacks and rendered unusable due to 1 life point. The value of the card is in its ability to attack lower-waisted opponents and eliminate the most annoying monsters! It is indeed what happened in my battle!
Cards positioning
Position 1: GOBLIN MECH
The inevitable Goblin in first position because he is really a war tank with his deadly attack (+4) and his excellent defense (6 armor points). Plus the ability of the Death Summoner (-1 attack) helps you take less damage from enemy attacks!
Position 2: MAGGOTS
You can see how the monster manages to eliminate an opposing card at each turn. Well protected by the Goblin, and being in second position does not suffer attacks throughout the game but manages to be decisive in my battle! Great Maggots!
Position 3: HAUNTED SPIDER
Despite the good melee attack (+2), Spider is immediately annihilated by the opponent, having only one life point it is easy that he is shot down by his opponents. He sacrificed himself for the team and allowed Maggots to continue his death trail :)
Position 4: FURIOUS CHICKEN
A precious card even if it has no value or ability. Chicken allows me to absorb attacks at the tail of the cards and allows me to gain an attack turn very important for my strategy and the final victory!
