Hope you all are good and enjoying your lives. Today I'm back with another diary. Today was 10 September Friday. At noon my brother in law informed me that in evening he would be at my home and I invited them to take dinner with us . So I made dinner specially for them.
Let's start today's food diary.
BREAKFAST
Morning started after offering fajar sallah at 5:40. Just my husband had to go to his college. I made breakfast for him. After eating breakfast he went out for college and I went to bed for sleep.
EGGS & PARATHA WITH TEA
I slept again and woke up around 11am and made breakfast for kids and myself.
LUNCH
For lunch I made potato curry. It is an easy and quick recipe. My husband backed home early at 2pm so I made lunch fastly and at 2:30pm served him lunch. The aalo curry in my kids favorite and I made it often in lunch.
POTATO CURRY
My husband napped for some time and I went to kitchen for cleaning.
EVENING SNACKS
At 5pm my brother in law made me a phone call and informed me that after maghrib they would be at my home. So it just made tea to for me and husband.
JUST TEA NO SNACKS
DINNER
After evening tea I went to kitchen for dinner preparation. As my sister was coming so I made Mutton polao her favorite and Mutton karhai his husband's favorite.
Now I'm sharing Mutton polao recipe with you
INGREDIENTS
ingredients | quantity |

Mutton | 750g |
Rice | 500g |
Salt | as per taste |
Yougart /tomatoes | 200g |
Black pepper | 1tsp |
Cinnamon stick | 3-4 |
Clove | 3-4 |
Cardamom black | 2-3 |
Cardamom green | 2-4 |
Garlic and ginger paste | 2tbsp |
Fried onions | 3tbsp |
Green chillies | 5-6 |
Oil | 5tbs |
Coriander seeds | 2tbsp |
PROCEDURE
- Wash mutton properly than put it in a pan and add 4 glasses of water and put it over stove.
- Take all spices according to the recipe and add in it.
Add garlic ginger to the pan.
Now cover the lid of pan and cook it until meat become soft.
- when meat becomes soft. Take oil in a pan add this meat and sotey it for sometime then add garlic ginger paste to it and sotey it for few minutes.
- Then add Yougart /tomatoes and green chillies and fry them for a few minutes.

- Add Mutton as stock to the pan and cook it for few minutes
- Add rice to the pan and cook on medium flame. Cover lid when it boils and cook on low flame.
- Tasty Mutton Pulao is ready to served
- Mutton polao is served with mint Yougart to enhance its taste.
2nd dish that I prepared was Mutton karhai.
I have already shared this recipe with chicken. You just use Mutton instead of chicken and follow the recipe
In dessert I served sweets that was bought from a Bala sweets one of the best sweet maker.
Then we enjoyed dinner together with delicious dessert. After gossip they went to their home at 12am.
