Hello Friends,

In today's post, as usual, I want to introduce you to something about my country, so I have dedicated the writing of this article to this villa called Villa dei Vescovi, which is located in the municipality of Luvigliano di Torreglia in the province of Padua.

Why am I talking to you about this place? Because I had the opportunity to visit it completely for free, thanks to the fact that this year I joined a fairly important association in Italy called Fai.

This association, which means Italian Environmental Fund, was founded in 1975, and its function is to acquire historical or historically interesting places, restore them, and make them accessible to everyone. Of course, those who are not members of the association will have to pay an entrance fee, which goes to support the enhancement of the asset.

In fact, an objective that I have set for myself here on is that a portion of my earnings goes to support this association. That's why I joined this year, which is not so expensive, only €20.

Here are the arcades and loggias

This place is very beautiful because this villa is very refined and dates back to the 1500s. Moreover, it is located in a beautiful landscape created by the Euganean Hills, and in this case, it was not an acquisition by the association but a donation. Sometimes, these places are very difficult to manage not only in terms of costs but also for the restoration that must be done every year.

This villa was designed by the Veronese architect Falconetto, but then there were interventions by a great architect of the 1500s, Giulio Romano, who created these spaces of the Loggias and Terraces.

The ticket price to visit this asset is €11 for the full ticket, while children up to 18 years old pay €5, and there is also the possibility of taking a guided tour for a cost of €20.

I think the bedroom is very beautiful

With the ticket, you can visit the various rooms of the villa, which are quite a few, and they all have period furnishings. Moreover, they are frescoed by Flemish painters, as you can see from the photos, and they are in excellent condition. It is very interesting because they take you back in time.

this stairway is very fascinating

It is also possible to take a beautiful walk in the park below the villa, where there is also a beautiful natural pond. In the spring, beautiful picnics are organized in this place.

Inside the villa, there is also a bar where you can consume and relax on sofas and tables in the garden and also in the loggias.

I hope you have read this post with interest, and I hope you have enjoyed the photos. As usual, I'll see you in my next post and I wish you a good and peaceful day.
