Achievement 5 Task 2 by @rapsantos: Review Steemscan.com

Before I start, I'll tag @yohan2on & @cryptokannon again for visibility purposes.

Previously, I reviewed Steemworld.org (click or tap here to visit) and was surprised that it went beyond expectations by @leveuf. So same thing, I'll visit the site, explain each feature again one by one and without further ado, let's get started.

Steemscann.com is an exchange tool developed by @futureshock & @roadofrich to convert Steem into other cryptocurrencies from USDT, BTC, and TRX. No need to enter an OTP or PIN/MPIN codes for verification proving that you're the owner of your account, and it is user-friendly that can be easily understood by a first-time user.

As far as we know about that crypto fluctuates everytime and the current Steem price is at US$0.15 upon submission of this review. Once you're on the site, the given image above shows the main page. It shows all records from the latest activites within the Steem Blockchain that can be sorted on the top left: from Transfer, Comment, Delete Comment and as the selection goes on.

But, once you switch tabs to Latest Blocks, it will not give you an option to sort it out and only displays recent time stamps within the block chain.

To define Decentralized Application (or DApps for short) it means

An application that runs on a distributed computing system. Popularized by distributed ledger techniques such as the Ethereum blockchain, where DApps are often referred to as smart contacts.

In my own words, DApps is more like a function where you can place an upvote, to post your articles or post a feedback/comment. At first, I thought Ethereum was only a form of crypto (just like Bitcoin) I just recently discovered that using their platform you can create your own applications or even a website. Since the concept is still its infancy, DApps can be defined in other ways and with its implementation there are a lot of websites & applications created under this feature.

Aside from Steemit.com, I also have an account at read.cash and currently using it. I haven't used Sphere.social (a mobile app) & Trybe for now and recently registered to both of these sites. The moment I registered read.cash, I gained a few points then converted to Bitcoin Cash. A few weeks later, after I created my account there are a few updates made at read.cash:

  • The points system will be removed to prevent spamming.
  • A bot named TheRandomRewarder will start tipping articles that are interesting and would not reach more than 3 minutes based on the bot's criteria.

Most of my articles were tipped from the bot and will continue to use it for the next few months since the website is now beginning to decline after the update and haven't seen any active users. It is up to me if I will continue to use this site. For the other two, I haven't posted a blog on both on my accounts and haven't gone around on the mentioned sites yet. I'll continue to use this platform including D.Tube. I have mentioned from my previous article that I'm investing my time to cryptocurrency since I am overwhelmed with my current salary and use this as my side income. Don't know what the future holds, I may use this as a full time and quit my day job for good.

I tried to search my own account on the site, and other users as well. This will show a summary of your account, profile, also a link that will direct you to steemworld.org to view other information. Also displays your previous activities from the site.

Guess that's pretty much about Steemscan.com. Try to visit the website then have a look around. I haven't withdrew most of my funds on my Steem wallet, so I need to review the last 2 websites and find which of these tools find best for me.

On to the next site review for Steemy.com!
